London Irish signed Scotland international, Scott Lawson, on a two year contract from Aviva Premiership rivals Gloucester.

Lawson, who has over 30 caps for Scotland scoring two tries, has been in both Scotland's 2011 and 2007 rugby world cup squads. He was also part of Scotland's 2012 6 Nations squad and in their summer tour party to Australasia.

The highly competitive, 30 year old hooker made over 80 appearances in four years at Gloucester, scoring six tries. He joined Gloucester from Sale Sharks in 2008 and started his professional career with Glasgow Warriors.
