Joseph and Gibson shine for England

Date: Fri 25 May 2012

Jonathan Joseph came off the bench to score a brace for England as the red rose emphatically dispatched of the Barbarians at Twickenham yesterday afternoon.

Joseph became the second senior debutant to score, collecting Farrell’s kick to take advantage of a gaping hole in the Barbarians defence. The London Irish outside centre then added further gloss at the death, collecting Wade's neat off load to score.

Jamie Gibson came on with 25 minutes remaining and also made an impressive impact in the 57-26 victory. Both players are graduates of the Exiles Academy.

Sailosi Tagicakibau appeared as a second half replacement and showed his Samoan power with some of his trademark runs.
