Community Rugby Manager Ben Lee visited Lusaka, Zambia and coached a series of tag rugby sessions in local government schools and assisted in the development of a new under 11s team named appropriately ‘ The Diggers’. Ben took along some London Irish flags and merchandise, kindly donated by the London Irish Supporters club, for the children. The pictures below are some of the Diggers players proud recipients of the kit after their community game against another local rugby team called Roan RFC. Roan RFC are home to the tallest rugby posts in the world standing at a height 110ft.
