The London Irish preliminary SIlver groups have been training at the Sunbury and Basingstoke RFC EPDG training centres for the last 3 months.

The U16, U15 and U14 age groups have been focussing on the core skill elements of the London Irish Academy skills curriculum with a view to gaining selection into the final Academy squads for the remainder of the season.

The U16 group have been training hard to earn a place in the Academy Gold group, made up of the best players in our region from the age of U16 to U18. Those players selected into the gold group will be required to train twice a week at the Sunbury Training Centre on a Monday and Wednesday evening between 6.00pm - 8.00pm.

U16 Silver group players who have trialled for the London Irish AASE programme are also included in the Gold group until final selections for the AASE programme is made in late January. At this point each players engagement in the Gold programme will be reviewed.

The players at the U15 and U14 age groups have been training to cement their places in the Silver groups that will train once a week at the two training centre venues.

Silver training for the Sunbury group will be held on a Monday evening from 6.00pm - 8.00pm
Silver training for the Basingstoke group will be held on a Tuesday evening from 6.00pm - 8.00pm

The next session for both Silver groups will be held on the week commencing 7th January 2013.
