Glenn Delaney

Glenn Delaney joined London Irish as Forwards Coach from Nottingham over the summer where he was Director of Rugby for seven years.

The former second row was a member of the Exiles 2002 Powergen Cup winning squad. Dick Best brought him to Sunbury in 2000 and he went on to enjoy three seasons with the Club making 59 appearances.

Born in Timaru, New Zealand, Glenn's rugby education started in the rugby breeding ground of Canterbury where he represented the Club at U21 and B level. He then went on to play for Tokyo in Japan before heading to England where he had stints with Linwood, Nottingham and Coventry before joining London Irish.
